Service of Word & Table

Wesley hasone Sunday worship service at 9:00 a.m. It is a mix of contemporary style, with praise music lead by our Morning Glory Singers, and traditional style, featuring our Chancel Choir, and readings from the lectionary. Children’s Sunday School starts at 10:00 a.m., but is not held during the summer. Special worship services are also held throughout the church year.

Holy Communion takes place on the first Sunday of the month at both services, and occasionally, at other times throughout the church year. Wesley has a communion ministry in which lay members of the congregation take holy communion to our shut-ins.

Liturgy means "The Work of the People."
We invite lay persons to help plan and lead worship as liturgists, acolytes, prayer leaders, ushers, greeters, communion ministers and communion visitors. Speak with chairperson of the worship committee or our volunteer coordinator if you are interested in serving in any of these ways. Sign up sheets are also posted on the bulletin boards located at the main entrance off the parking lot. Training sessions will be provided.
