Wesley Church will be sponsoring our first Trunk or Treat event!! This will be a community wide event that will be held on Wednesday, October 25th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in our parking lot and Koeller Hall. Trunk or Treat invites people to park their cars and open their trunks (or the backs of their vehicles) and decorate them. They then pass out candy or treats from their trunks. The event provides a safe family environment for trick or treaters.
WE NEED YOUR HELP – A community event like this invites new people to Wesley. We need a lot of help and participation from the congregation. We need enough volunteers to park their cars in our parking lot by 4:30 p.m., with trunks open and ready to pass out goodies to children by 5:00 p.m. We also need volunteers to help children in Koeller Hall with games and activities. Everyone is also invited to enjoy WWFF’s meal of hot dogs, sloppy joes, etc.
This event is open to all children in our community. If your child (ren) has friends from school, sports, or your neighborhood, please invite them to attend. Please see the sign-up board in the narthex to volunteer.
DONATIONS OF INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED PIECES OF CANDY ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
Any questions, please do not hesitate to call Jenny Fournier at 231-3926 or Tracey Lovell at 589-5136. With everyone’s help, we can make this a fun-filled event!!
